On 11th of April, there was the BLAST 2017 kick-off press conference. The event has been hosted in Camera di Commercio di Roma, an amazing location in the heart of Rome. There were the main stakeholders of BLAST, as the three co-founders of the event (Alessia Gianaroli, Rosbeh Zakikhani, Pierluca Cecchini) and Pietro Piccinetti, Sole Director at Fiera Roma.
“With these three days dedicated to the startups world and to the innovation, our trade fair aims to put Rome and the whole country at the center of these sectors”, said Piccinetti. Rosbeh Zakikhani has presented the event to the journalists, specifying that one of the BLAST goals is to create an event that can be, for the first time, an Italian point of reference for all the startups ecosystem, not only for the Italian one but on a international level as well.
Among the speakers there were also Fausto Bianchi (Unindustria), Adriano Meloni (Assessor at Roma Capitale), Luca Voglino (president at Investimenti Spa), Gianmarco Carnovale (chairman at Roma Startup) and Peter Kruger (CEO and MD at StartupBootcamp Foodtech).
